Debbie Hanks joined the Westminster Church staff on January 5, 2012, as the newest office addition. If you call or stop by on a Thursday or Friday, you'll be greeted by Debbie as our receptionist.
Debbie and her husband Steve joined the Westminster fellowship in June 1989, along with their three daughters: Caryn, Laure and Kelley.
You may know Debbie from her volunteer service for the church, including teaching at VBS, storytelling in the 2-year-old nursery, greeting people at the Welcome Center, service on the Membership Care Committee, or making meals for new mothers and church members who are ill or rehabilitating from a recent hospitalization.
Debbie says, "This position's main responsibility is to cover the phones and help with the preparation of the weekly bulletin - which I discovered today is quite a task!"Debbie's past work experience includes both teaching and working as the receptionist at Lancaster Christian School, as well as operating her own successful residential and office cleaning business.
