Men's Seminar Recap: Living With Integrity in a Sex-Crazed World

On Saturday, January 21, Westminster hosted a seminar for men entitled "Living With Integrity in a Sex-Crazed World." One attendee shares his thoughts:

Different thoughts resonate to each hearer according to that person's Christian walk and their needs along the journey. For me, the overriding message of the seminar is the need for personal accountability. In other words, isolation guarantees failure. At numerous times, I was reminded that my failures reveal my pride. Christ-like thinking is paradoxical to my human thinking. The way up is down. I need to embrace my weakness and be candid about my struggles. I've been so encouraged to hear our speaker, Dave White, and other men, confess their struggles to me. It's not a new concept. Everyone is sexually broken. Still, I've stubbornly resisted sharing my struggles with others. Confessing struggles and failures to God is essential but real victory is elusive unless I'm willing to humble myself before my brothers.
