Music Camp is offered every other year to Westminster young people entering Grades 1–8 in the fall. It is designed to give opportunities to explore singing, rhythm instruments, handbells, listening, moving, and creating experiences with music.
The camp began in 1997 as a one-day session. It has extended to the present two-day format. The theme from 2017 was the Music of the Reformation. Students learned about music and how it changed before, during and after the Reformation. The campers composed a song and sang it during our Sunday morning worship service. Older campers also participated in a instrument or handbell ensemble.
The next Music Camp is scheduled for June of 2020.
