Women’s Ministry Plant Swap

Saturday, May 4, 10–11:30 AM, Rain or Shine

A plant swap is a great way to start a new garden, enhance an existing garden, or thin out an over-crowded garden. Gardeners and non-gardeners alike are welcome to enjoy fellowship, free plants, refreshments, and door prizes!

The Plant Swap is Rain or Shine, held outside at Westminster Church, in the carport/driveway area off the Gathering Space. Park in the north parking lot at the sanctuary-end of the building.

Bring:

  • Healthy perennials, annuals, vegetable plants, herbs, bulbs, houseplants

  • Plants may be repotted in pots or containers, or larger plants brought in plastic bags.

  • Please label all items with the name of the plant and your name. If possible, include any other information that will be helpful to the new owner: height, spacing, flower color, light requirements, special instructions, etc. If you aren’t sure what something is, bring it to the Plant Swap and ask one of our experienced gardeners.

  • Please do not water plants the morning of the Plant Swap.

  • If you are a new gardener and don’t have any plants to share, please come anyway!

Do Not Bring:

  • Nuisance, overly aggressive, or invasive plants. If it’s a problem plant in your yard, don’t burden someone else with it.
